Portuguese road featured on 'Good Morning America'

In the 'Good Morning America' program, 'Frommer's' presented the best tourist destinations to visit in 2019 worldwide, in which Estrada Nacional 2 stands out - which dazzles with its magnificent landscapes from Trás-os-Montes to the Algarve.

The N2 road is the longest road in Portugal and also one of the longest in the world.

Over a distance equivalent to 738 kilometres, it crosses Portugal from side to side between Chaves, in the North, and Faro, in the South, being considered one of the most mythical routes ever.

However, we are not the only ones who say it… on 'Good Morning America', the leading morning talk show in the United States, the renowned travel publication 'Frommer's' presented the best tourist destinations to visit in 2019 around the world , among which it gave primacy to N2.

The North American program also praises Portuguese restaurants and hotels, stressing that the beauty of Portugal is no longer a secret and urging the public to get to know our country as soon as possible.

Journalists even compare the ‘road trip’ along National Road 2, to the mythically famous Route 66 that runs through the United States, saying: “It crosses wine regions, passes through medieval cities, it is simply fabulous”.
