It has 100 hectares of land, and offers a view over the valley and the Douro river.
The typically Douro house has existed since the 18th century, but only later did the wine cellar appear, built on the steps leading down to the river.
Inaugurated in 2007, the production of the farm's wines began there. Here you can find out more about the production of wines and you still have the opportunity to taste them.
There are also visits to the farm and picnics organized in the middle of the vineyards with a privileged view of the Douro River.
To prove the quality of this property, Quinta do Seixo won the “Best of Wine Tourism” award and was also awarded the Turismo de Portugal award, in the “New Private Project” category.
Born in the Douro, namely in the village of Galafura where the most beautiful viewpoint in the Douro is located, Monte de São Leonardo de Galafura. I am lucky to have been born in one of the most beautiful regions in the world and I want to share the best of what comes from it. I want to make known to the world its landscape, its customs, the gastronomy and the fantastic wines that go from strength to strength in the mouths of the world.
