It is one of the oldest and most famous estates in the Douro Valley, known for the production of Douro and Port wines.
It is located on the banks of the River Corgo, close to Peso da Régua. It has been selling wines under its own brand since 1993.
In 2012 the hotel was built, in which all rooms overlook the Corgo river.
Behind the building are the famous vineyards, producing some of the best wines in the world.
As programs, Quinta do Vallado suggests a picnic at the top of the hill with a privileged view and a visit to the cellars close to the hotel, where you can buy and taste the wines that are produced there.
At harvest time, you can also participate in picking the grapes and treading the berries.
Born in the Douro, namely in the village of Galafura where the most beautiful viewpoint in the Douro is located, Monte de São Leonardo de Galafura. I am lucky to have been born in one of the most beautiful regions in the world and I want to share the best of what comes from it. I want to make known to the world its landscape, its customs, the gastronomy and the fantastic wines that go from strength to strength in the mouths of the world.
