In the farm's cellar, dating from 1764, all grape bunches are carefully selected by hand, respecting the natural maturation of the grapes.
To accommodate tourists, the farm created the first wine hotel in Portugal with all the comfort of a family farm.
The Luxury Wine House has 11 rooms, with a privileged view over the landscape, surrounded by a wine environment and a very Douro farm.
As programs, Quinta Nova offers wine tasting, visits to the cellar and barrel room, tours of the farm with a picnic and even boat or train rides through the region.
Born in the Douro, namely in the village of Galafura where the most beautiful viewpoint in the Douro is located, Monte de São Leonardo de Galafura. I am lucky to have been born in one of the most beautiful regions in the world and I want to share the best of what comes from it. I want to make known to the world its landscape, its customs, the gastronomy and the fantastic wines that go from strength to strength in the mouths of the world.
