Tour Douro Best is the ideal program if you want to get to know the Douro from a unique perspective. This complete experience begins at São Bento Station, from where you will start the train (from November 3 to April 5, this route will be covered by minivan due to electrification works on the railway line between Marco de Canavezes and Peso da Régua) journey to the emblematic city of Régua. Upon arrival in Régua, a guide will be waiting for you throughout the journey, which begins on the most beautiful road in the world, the National 222.
You will have the opportunity to contemplate the incredible landscape that marks this route to Pinhão, where you will take a cruise on the traditional Rabelos boats. Get ready for an onboard experience full of emotion along what is one of the most beautiful stretches of the Douro River.
After the panoramic cruise in Pinhão, you will be welcomed at Quinta da Avessada, where you will have the opportunity to taste a lunch made up of the best regional flavors. After the traditional Douro lunch, you'll learn about the traditional method of producing the traditional wheat of the 4 Corners through the “Create Your Own Bread” workshop.
