09:30 – Pick-up at the Régua Pier, next to Loja Ideias Douro

• Wine Tasting at “Douro Winedeck”
  Tasting of 5 premium wines in a unique setting: open-air, in the heart of the vineyards, at Douro Criativo’s new modern and exclusive space
  An intimate wine experience with the landscape as your backdrop
• Traditional Lunch at Quinta da Laceira
  A typical Douro meal, prepared with local products and served in a warm and welcoming family atmosphere

15:00 – 1-Hour Cruise on a Traditional Rabelo Boat

• Board a traditional rabelo boat and enjoy the stunning Douro riverbanks, on a cruise operated by Tomaz do Douro

Discover the best of the Douro in just one day with the Douro Essential programme, a complete and authentic experience combining landscapes, wine, gastronomy, and river navigation. The day begins at 09:30 with a meeting point at the Régua Pier (Loja Ideias Douro), followed by a visit to the iconic São Leonardo de Galafura Viewpoint, where you can admire one of the most impressive views over the Douro Valley.

Next comes one of the most special moments of the day: a tasting of 5 premium wines at the new “Douro Winedeck” project — a modern, exclusive space integrated into the vineyards, created by Douro Criativo to deliver a truly unique open-air wine experience.

A traditional lunch will then be served at Quinta da Laceira, featuring authentic flavours from the region’s gastronomy. The afternoon ends with a relaxing 1-hour cruise on a traditional rabelo boat, operated by Tomaz do Douro, along the enchanting banks of the Douro River.
