It is at Régua Quay that this journey through the Douro valleys begins. Take advantage of the afternoon to enjoy the surrounding landscape that accompanies you from Régua to Pinhão.
In addition to being surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, you will have the opportunity to pass by the Régua Dam, where you will see the strength of the waters of the Douro River as you cross a dam with a 28-meter drop.
Upon arriving in Pinhão, take the opportunity to explore this small village. You can head to the station where the famous tiles that portray life in the Douro can be found. You can also get to know the various local businesses that the village has, places full of history and many years of memories.
You will be surrounded by various patterns of vineyards, which produce Port Wine, one of the most emblematic wines in the world.
The return to Régua is not included in the route, but you can take the train at Pinhão Station and buy a ticket on board the train.
So comes the end of a full day, where you had the opportunity to admire the most acclaimed Douro landscapes and travel one of the most famous stretches of the Douro River.
