The "Douro Sublimado" program offers a unique cultural experience for lovers of wine and Miguel Torga. This program starts in Régua, where we will take you to the São Leonardo de Galafura viewpoint and Quinta Coimbra de Mattos in the morning. The regional lunch will be held at a small family Wine Estate.
After lunch, a cruise along the Douro River between Régua and Pinhão follows, where we highlight the imposing Bagaúste Dam. You'll disembark at the Pinhão pier at 5pm, where you'll have some free time, followed by a fantastic train ride along the river bank.

Note: Boat trip between mid-April and mid-October. During the remaining months, the boat trip is replaced by a 1-hour trip on a traditional rabelo boat.

Meet us at Cais da Régua and start this journey through the Douro valley.
Our first destination in the morning will be the Miradouro de São Leonardo da Galafura, an idyllic spot that was a source of inspiration for Miguel Torga and which today pays homage to him.
"Dive" in the Douro River as Miguel Torga did and contemplate this "excess of nature".
This will be followed by a visit to a family Wine Estate in the region, so that you can see the product of the work in the region in its purest state, away from all the tourist hustle and bustle. Here you can taste 4 wines produced at this Wine Estate.
Once you've tasted the wine, we also want to introduce you to the flavors of the region. So we'll have a regional lunch waiting for you at a family Wine Estate in the region, an intimate space where you can enjoy the local cuisine.
Afterwards, you can enjoy a fantastic cruise between Régua and Pinhão (only between mid- april and mid-october), so that you can appreciate one of the most beautiful parts of the Douro. We highlight the moment when you pass the Bagaúste/Régua dam, with a drop of 28 meters!
During the remaining months, due to the closure of the Douro dams, the above-mentioned cruise is replaced by a 1-hour cruise on a rabelo boat in Pinhão.
When you arrive in Pinhão, and after some free time to lose yourself in this picturesque village with its breathtaking natural beauty, you'll start the journey back to Régua by train along the Douro line. A beautiful journey accompanied by the Douro River!
