The experience begins in the Port Wine Cellar, with a brief historical overview of the property, followed by a tour of the vineyards and ending with a visit to the winery and aging cellars, where the entire winemaking process is explained.

Part of the tour takes place outdoors, on slightly sloping ground, and access to the interior of the winery is via stairs. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and footwear, appropriate for the weather conditions on the day of the visit.
The tasting is only open to people over 18 years of age, but children are welcome to accompany them.
Quinta do Vallado, built in 1716, is one of the oldest and most famous estates in the Douro Valley.
It is located on the banks of the Corgo River, a tributary of the Douro River, right next to its mouth, near the town of Peso da Régua.
It belonged to the family of the legendary Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira and remains in the possession of her descendants to this day.
